Cork Building and Carpentry is operated by Garvan McCarthy.
In the late 90’s Garvan served his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery and received extensive training in all aspects of carpentry with a special emphasis on roof construction and roof repair.This training served him well and he went on to graduate from Cork Institute of Technology with distinction.
Following this, Garvan spent a number of years as building and maintenance foreman based in Janssen Pharmaceuticals where he gained invaluable experience in civils, project management and the high standard of health and safety that is so vital on even the smallest of projects.
Founded in 2006 ,Cork Building and Carpentry has grown year on year in some of the hardest years seen in the construction sector,establishing a high demand for services from new and repeat clients.
The Cork Building and Carpentry team has a combined experience of over 50 years in the construction industry, and pride themselves on providing a prompt and professional service to both residential and commercial clients.
